UK: Mortgage Approvals down to 61.267K in September

FXStreet (Łódź) - UK Mortgage Approvals fell to 61.267K in September, following 64.054K registered the previous month, according to the BoE report published today. The result is lower than forecasts of an slide to 62.250K.

Consumer Credit declined to £0.915B from £0.960B, above market consensus of a drop to £0.800B.

Net Lending to Individuals decreased £2.7B in comparison with £3.2B and slightly below analysts' expectations of a drop to £2.8B.

ECB signals Eurozone banks see further easing of loan standards

The ECB released its quarterly Bank Lending Survey on Wednesday in which it revealed that the Eurozone financial institutions expect further loosening of credit standards in the last quarter of the year, after easing them in the previous quarter.
