AUD/JPY retreats from 94.00

FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/JPY traded momentarily above 94.00, at the highest level since last Friday but it was unable to hold and pulled back. During the American session the pair hit a fresh daily low at 93.16 and it was trading at 93.30/35, down 0.50 for the day.

A stronger yen pushed the pair to the downside during the second half of the day; earlier the AUD/USD rose to 0.7970 amid a weak US dollar but then erased all gains.

AUD/JPY technical levels

To the downside, support levels might be located at 93.00/05 (Jan 23 low) and 92.50 while to the upside, resistance could lie at 93.60 (American session high) and 94.05 (daily high).
