UK January 2015 trade deficit narrows to GBP 0.6 billion
FXStreet (Mumbai) - The data released by the UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) today showed the deficit of trade in goods and services for January 2015 narrowed to GBP 0.6 billion, from GBP 2.1 billion in the previous month.
The Visible trade deficit was GBP 8.4 billion in January 2015, narrowing by GBP 1.5 billion from December 2014. Exports fell by GBP 1.0 billion, while imports declined by GBP 2.5 billion, the largest monthly decrease since July 2006.
