S. Korea FinMin: May suspend the proposed capital gains tax changes

South Korea’s Finance Minister Kim Dong-yeon was on the wires last hour, via Reuters, noting that his government may suspend the proposed capital gains tax threshold changes for foreign investors.

The proposed capital gains tax change for foreign investors was effective from July and it will reduce the threshold of tax ownership for foreigners to 5% from 25%.
